How do I book my first session?

What happens during the free consultation?
During your free 30-minute consultation, we'll discuss where you are right now, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope to achieve. This is a no-pressure conversation to see if we're a good fit and how coaching can support your journey.
Do I need to prepare anything before my first session?
No special preparation is needed! Just come as you are with an open mind. You may want to think about what you'd like to focus on, but we'll explore this together during our conversation.
How long are coaching sessions?
Regular coaching sessions are typically 60 minutes long. This gives us enough time to dive deep into your challenges, explore solutions, and create actionable next steps.
How often should I have sessions?
Most clients benefit from weekly or bi-weekly sessions. We'll create a schedule that works for your needs and goals. Consistency is important, but we can adjust the frequency as your journey progresses.
Are sessions conducted online or in person?
All sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams, giving you the convenience and comfort of coaching from your own space. This also means you can access support no matter where you are in South Africa.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
Life happens! Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. This allows me to potentially offer that time to another client and ensures we can find a new time that works for you.
What's the difference between coaching and therapy?
While therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and addressing mental health concerns, coaching is forward-focused. We work on where you are now and where you want to go, creating practical strategies to help you thrive. If you're dealing with clinical mental health issues, I may recommend working with a therapist alongside coaching.
How long does the coaching process take?
Every journey is unique. Some clients achieve their goals in 3-6 months, while others continue for a year or more. We'll regularly review your progress and adjust our approach as needed. There's no pressure to commit to a specific timeline.
Is everything I share confidential?
Absolutely. Everything you share in our sessions is completely confidential. This is your safe space to be vulnerable, honest, and real without judgment.
How much do sessions cost?
Session pricing varies depending on the package you choose. During your free consultation, we'll discuss options that fit your needs and budget. I offer both single session rates and package deals for better value.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I understand that investing in yourself is important, and I want to make coaching accessible. We can discuss payment plan options that work for your financial situation.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept bank transfers (EFT), credit cards, and other secure payment methods. Payment details will be provided after your free consultation.
I'm going through a divorce. Can coaching help?
